Position Summary

Assist with various aspects of International Taxation for the Company including but not limited to international aspects of US compliance, income tax provision with emphasis on the non-US jurisdictions, transfer pricing, and tax technology.  The position will also entail interaction with various SG business groups in different jurisdictions, 3rd party tax advisors, tax authorities and performance of administrative work.

Job Description

  • Coordinate and help with the preparation of the income tax provision (ASC 740) for both US and international jurisdictions on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Calculate and prepare forms related to the international aspects of US income tax compliance such as GILTI, BEAT, FTC, E&P, Subpart F, Form 5471, 8858, etc.
  • Work with non-us jurisdictions and tax advisors on local country income tax compliance, tax audits, indirect tax and provide focused support to assigned jurisdictions.
  • Assist with international transfer pricing analysis, calculations, studies, and associated projects.
  • Management of Country by Country (CbC) report and Notifications.
  • Review and/or help in the preparation of Pillar II tax regime quarterly calculations and analysis and assist with Global anti-Base Erosion (GloBe) return preparation.
  • Research and analyze impact of enacted and potential law changes and prepare memos and action plans to support tax positions.
  • Monitor current international tax developments for potential implications to the company using on-line services tax research database.
  • Maintain tax department databases and tax compliance calendars.
  • Prepare tax account analysis and reconciliations, and maintain tax records, etc.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with
  • CPA certification
  • Income tax accounting experience and knowledge of GAAP and IFRS requirements
  • 7 plus years of international tax experience in an accounting firm and industry
  • 5 plus years of income tax provision experience.
  • Moderate to strong tax technology knowledge
  • Strong verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problems-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong technical knowledge related to international tax principals

Desired Skills:

  • Masters in taxation - MTax
  • Transfer pricing exposure
  • Exposure to tax in non-US jurisdictions
  • Experience in OneSource tax provision (OTP) and OneSource income tax (OIT)

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required.

CPA certification required

Masters in Taxation Desired.
