Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

The IT internship is designed for college/university students, completing their junior year, working towards a degree. Interns are exposed to a variety of real-life work experiences in the IT functional area, which may include:

  • Supports end users of computer equipment and software.  Offers users help and support in all aspects of computer operations. 
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate.
  • Builds, configures, upgrades, performs backup, and recovery, installs and troubleshoots desktop computer systems.
  • Creates and reviews work orders to move, change, install, repair, or remove data communications equipment such as modems, cables, and wires.
  • Creates and modifies documents and instructions on work performed.
  • Creates and maintains operational documentation for help desk procedures, virus protection, software licensing, inventory control, and software patches/updates.
  • Creates, follows-up, and closes helpdesk tickets.
  • Reads technical manuals to learn and apply correct settings for equipment.
  • Provides efficient and prompt customer service support to computer users.
  • Responds to end users’ problems and requests.  Instructs end users as necessary in the proper operations of the computer, software and network resources.
  • Provides support and instruction for Video conferencing equipment.
  • Responsible for training of office personnel on proper use of applications, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office suite, Accounting applications, Human Resource applications, file access, printing, Terminal Server
  • Assures proper computer use and instruction in areas of security and anti-virus.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
