Job Summary

The Intelligence Automation Optimization Engineer supports the delivery, optimization, and deployment of Intelligent Automation solutions in production. This role focuses on executing change requests, managing deployments, resolving production issues, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts under established architectural and process guidelines. The engineer works closely with the Senior Optimization Engineer, Solution Architect, QA Testing Specialists, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Change & Deployment Execution:

  • Execute approved change requests, enhancements, and bug fixes for automation solutions.
  • Coordinate and perform deployments into production following established change management practices.
  • Support testing and validation activities in partnership with QA and testing specialists.
  • Maintain and update documentation for in-production process with all new or re-engineered updates

Production Support & Optimization:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues for existing automations.
  • Implement targeted optimizations to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in re-engineering efforts for live automations under senior guidance.

Backlog & Intake Support:

  • Assist with evaluating incoming change requests and bugs.
  • Provide technical input on feasibility, effort, and risk.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of changes, fixes, and deployment outcomes.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work with product owners, developers, and business teams to clarify requirements.
  • Communicate status updates, risks, and blockers clearly and proactively.
  • Escalate complex issues or architectural concerns appropriately.

Best Practices & Continuous Improvement:

  • Follow established standards for version control, code quality, and deployment.
  • Contribute ideas to improve automation reliability, deployment efficiency, and operational processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3–5 years in software development, automation, or optimization roles.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with C#, Python, UiPath, Power Automate, and similar tools
  • Working knowledge of version control (GitHub) and CI/CD concepts
  • Change & Deployment: Experience supporting or executing production deployments.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot automation failures and production defects.
  • Communication: Strong ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Intelligent Automation or RPA solutions in production.
  • Exposure to AI/ML tools or automation orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
  • Relevant automation or cloud certifications for AWS, UiPath, Databricks, Salesforce, or other.

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
  • Collaborative and receptive to feedback
  • Proactive in identifying issues and improvement opportunities
