Playtech‘s Infrastructure Unit is looking for an organized and proactive Infrastructure Core Project Manager to lead internal infrastructure initiatives. You will coordinate cross‑team work, manage project delivery, and support the development of stable, scalable, and secure infrastructure services.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will…

  • Manage Infra Core internal projects end‑to‑end, including planning, scope definition, milestones, risk management, and delivery.
  • Lead project routines, provide clear status updates, and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Work closely with Infra Core teams (Network, System, DBA's) and also other Infra domain teams (monitoring, automation, platform etc) to keep initiatives aligned.
  • Coordinate cross‑team dependencies and remove blockers to maintain project momentum.
  • Facilitate alignment between technical teams and operational stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices in project management and infrastructure governance.
  • Drive continuous improvements in processes, documentation, and reporting.
  • Support the standardization of infrastructure services, tools, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure transparency through regular reporting and structured communication.
  • Work with technical leads to translate infrastructure strategy into actionable project plans.
  • Use automation tools and apply technical understanding to support the implementation of new infrastructure changes.

Qualifications

  • Have proven experience in project management within IT infrastructure, operations, or engineering,
  • Have a strong understanding of infrastructure components (compute, monitoring, identity, networking, automation, cloud).
  • Can break down complex technical topics into clear project plans and actions.
  • Communicate effectively and manage stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Bring experience with project management frameworks (Agile, Kanban, Scrum, or hybrid).
  • Can handle multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining alignment across teams.
  • Are structured, organized, and proactive in driving outcomes.
  • Show strong ownership and responsibility in delivering results.
  • Translate technical content into clear, actionable communication.
  • Have experience working with cross‑functional technical teams.

  • Having a background in infrastructure engineering or operations.
  • Understanding ITSM processes (incident, problem, change management).
  • Being familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, CMDB, monitoring/alerting platforms, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowing security standards, compliance requirements, or how to support audits.
  • Holding certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Scrum Master.

INFRASTRUCTURE CORE PROCESS & PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAM
The Infrastructure Core Process & Project Management team is part of Playtech’s Infrastructure organization and focuses on enabling effective infrastructure delivery through clear processes and internal initiatives. The team works across infrastructure and operations units to improve visibility, consistency, and scalable ways of working, without owning or operating platforms directly. This is a small, highly focused team responsible for improving existing processes, supporting internal R&D and cross‑team projects, and establishing well‑governed practices. You will report to the Infrastructure Operation Manager and collaborate closely with the Infrastructure Process Manager in a collaborative, improvement‑driven environment.
