Role Overview

The Head of Marketing – Jackpot City Africa will lead the marketing strategy and execution for the Jackpot City brand across key African markets.

This role is responsible for customer acquisition, brand growth, and player value optimisation within the online casino vertical. The successful candidate will combine data-driven performance marketing, brand building, and CRM strategy to drive profitable growth of the Jackpot City customer base.

The role will work closely with product, analytics, and regional leadership to ensure marketing strategies align with commercial targets and regulatory frameworks across the region.

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Growth in Jackpot City active players
  • Improvement in customer acquisition cost (CAC)
  • Increased player lifetime value (LTV)
  • Strong brand awareness and engagement
  • Marketing ROI and revenue contribution

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute the marketing strategy for Jackpot City across Africa.
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value growth.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the brand’s presence in existing and emerging markets.

Performance Marketing

  • Lead digital acquisition across key channels including:
  • Paid search
  • Paid social
  • Programmatic
  • Affiliate marketing
  • App install campaigns
  • Optimise CAC, conversion rates, and ROI across marketing channels.

CRM & Player Lifecycle

  • Develop CRM strategies to drive player engagement, retention, and reactivation.
  • Optimise lifecycle marketing including:
    • onboarding
    • bonus campaigns
    • personalised promotions
    • VIP player journeys.

Brand & Campaigns

  • Lead brand campaigns and creative strategy for Jackpot City.
  • Ensure brand positioning resonates with local African audiences.
  • Partner with creative and media agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns.

Data & Optimisation

  • Use analytics and experimentation to drive marketing decisions.
  • Track and optimise key KPIs including:
  • Cost per acquisition
  • Player value
  • Conversion rates
  • Marketing ROI.

Partnerships & Affiliates

  • Build and manage strong relationships with affiliate partners and media networks.
  • Expand affiliate programs to drive scalable customer acquisition.

Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team across Africa.
  • Work closely with commercial, product, and regulatory teams.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure strong return on investment.

Key Requirements

Experience

  • 8+ years experience in digital marketing leadership roles.
  • Strong experience in online gaming, casino, sports betting, or high-scale consumer platforms.
  • Proven success scaling customer acquisition through digital channels.
  • Experience managing large marketing budgets and performance teams.
