Who you’ll work with

We are looking for a Head of Brand and Sponsorship who will relish the opportunity to shape and drive the commercial performance of the UK’s No 1 betting brand.

This is your chance to bring new ideas to a business that has doubled in size over the past 5 years. The way we have always done things isn’t necessarily the way we will always do them, we are continually turning the dial!

Your role in ‘better’

Brand and Sponsorship are the start and end point when it comes to how each of our brands look, feel, sound, smell and taste.

You’ll have responsibility for crafting and implementing brand strategy for Sky Bet ensuring the strategic approach is adopted and implemented effectively by the Brand and Marketing Campaign Planning teams.

Leading a Brand & Sponsorship team made up of passionate and ambitious experts across brand strategy, brand guardianship and sponsorship you will have accountability for proving the effectiveness of brand and sponsorship work through performance tracking which directly and indirectly impact the Sky Bet P&L, contributing to the overall target of double-digit YoY revenue growth.

You will lead a vast array of partners and influence across areas.  You will look to maximise all our Sponsorship agreements, building effective relationships and actively seek out opportunities to drive brand growth. The role will report directly into the Marketing Director and be encouraged to effectively lead upwards without compromise.

You will work closely with the wider marketing teams to ensure that as a brand, we always show up in the right way, particularly across our PR and Content and Social channels.

How you’ll create ‘better’

  • A brand marketeer proficient in the art of brand strategy; an expert in brand guardianship with a consistent track record in successful brand campaign management, and someone who has experience across both creative and design management.
  • Lead our sponsorship strategy and partnerships, ensuring all initiatives drive brand metrics. Nurture relationships and seek out opportunities to drive performance of our deals and commitments.
  • Translate business strategy into effective brand strategy, driven by insights and customer needs.
  • Provide direction to the Marketing Campaign Planning team to ensure campaign outputs adhere to the brand strategy, brand research and longer-term goals.
  • You will be proficient at creating a clear methodology and plan for monitoring brand effectiveness and supplying the recommendations for how to improve.

  • Be a strong communicator who is approachable and highly visible, engaging and collaborating at all levels.
