The Team
This is a key role working within the Gaming Operations team. The team is focused on the smooth operation of our Gaming products with responsibility for a wide range of areas including content management, working closely with our platform providers and regulators on their requirements, aligning with internal and external testing teams, aligning with development timelines for releases, and looking for automation opportunities and process improvements that enable us to scale without requiring additional manual processes.
Role Summary
The role will report into the Gaming Operations Manager. The Operations Team Lead will focus on leading the Gaming Operations team towards delivering the highest quality of content offered to our customers, and connecting with the business strategy and the desired commercial outcomes, coupled with the ability to translate ideas into action, stakeholder management and outstanding operational discipline.
It will require a positive and proactive approach towards quality and drive an improvement oriented culture across departments.
The main responsibilities of this role will include managing the performance and development of the Operations team, recruitment, training and assigning of responsibilities, as well as acting as the primary escalation point for issue resolution for the Operations team.
Strong communication skills are important. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
The team is expected to deliver flawlessly and work closely with teams across the business such as Marketing, Product Delivery and Technology to optimise and deliver best customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Key contributor to innovation, both from an operational and growth perspective.
Lead a team of people who will be recognized as experts for their operational knowledge.
Will advise multiple departments on the best way to approach various projects.
Lead and successfully implement strategic projects and be POC for operational requirements.
Build and develop a culture of operational excellence.
Ensure all operational activities are delivered in the most effective and efficient manner, with gaps proactively addressed.
Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics (run rate, velocity, capacity), conducting data-driven deep dives to identify trends, process gaps and improvement opportunities that support strategic decision-making and team efficiency goals.
Measure and track key metrics specific to the Gaming Operations team.
Act as point of escalation for any issues related to the operation, both internally and to other parts of the business.
Support the improvement of the content operations management processes to make sure execution is constantly streamlined and workload is properly managed.
Understand the different markets and the roadmap for delivery of new features.
Implement and challenge performance management processes, ensuring frequent and high-quality feedback is delivered to all team members.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Support the Product Team to deliver key projects concerning the evolution of features and tools. The Operations Team Lead will support the Gaming Operations Manager to embed a team that is recognised as drivers of efficiency and innovation, stretching the functionality to be best in class amongst our competitors.

Education, Qualifications & Experience
Experience in leading and motivating people in a previous role as a manager.
Working knowledge and an extended experience on Gaming promotional tools (Prismic, JIRA, Confluence).
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Innovation driven, both from an operations and department growth perspective.
Knowledge in developing business cases, presentations, and reports.
Proven skills in leading projects successfully.
Proven skills and experience in issue resolution is a distinct advance.
At least 3 years’ experience working in an e-commerce or m-commerce.
Highly skilled in MS suite including Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint.
Previous people management experience.
Fluency in English essential.
Demonstrate operational understanding.
