ENTER THE GAME

Reporting to the assigned Fraud & Payments Team Leader, the jobholder will make sure that all Fraud Alerts are reviewed correctly and on time, whilst proactively anticipating issues to minimize any fraud risk.
The job holder will be responsible for conducting standard daily tasks and also assisting and mentoring staff in order to identify training needs by providing necessary support, as well as ensuring that all internal processes/documentation are in line with the departmental needs.

YOUR ROLE AT BETCLIC

In this context, your duties are:

  • Ensure to organise yourself based on the daily assigned tasks in order to be able to complete them before the end of the shift.
  • In the absence of Team Leaders, monitor workload and reassign tasks if necessary.
  • Help the Team Leader on the QCs (Quality Control) on the operational teams' activity.
  • Perform any training needs for the newcomers and existing team members.
  • Assist the Management with any administrative duties/projects such as; Internal Processes & Documentation.
  • Act as a constant point of reference for any queries or escalations made by the Analysts. In case of technical issues, these must be raised to relevant departments.
  • Be able to work across all the Markets in terms of Fraud & AML.
  • Specialise in the detection & prevention of fraud.
  • It is must that both Quality and Efficiency levels meet the Departmental expectations.
  • Handle the operational daily tasks (Investigate FRAUD alerts with proper analysis and follow-ups).
  • Assist the Management with any administrative duties/projects such as; Internal processes & Documentation.
  • Process incoming and outgoing customers' payments, in a timely and error-free manner.
  • Monitor of possible money laundering transactions and communication of suspicions by submitting appropriate. Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the AML Team/MLRO.
  • Professional handle all related customer queries.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with other departments. Internal and external Communication must be maintained in a professional and high standard.
  • Conduct analysis of transactional and customer records to link unidentified transactions and accounts to known fraudulent activity.
  • Independently determine fraudulent activity and act according to agreed procedures with regards to transaction acceptance, account blocking and further checks.
  • Performing checks on customers and requesting the relevant KYC documents in compliance with any regulatory governing bodies based on determined customer risk level.
  • Follow up any payment-related issues or customer queries proactively.
  • Suggest improvements to the Fraud Tool, procedures and develop the knowledge base, as well as act as a source of consultation for tool & software development.
  • Be well informed of any changes adhering to the Betclic’s Strategy Plan.
  • Be able to put Customers' interest first without forgetting regulatory fraud risk in any actions taken.
  • Ensure confidentiality regarding tasks/processes.
  • Ensure to take onboard all the suggestions/improvements shared by the management.
  • Support the rest of the team in the implementation of the procedures.
  • Be the first point of contact for team escalations, raising tickets to relevant departments and assisting the Fraud & Payments Leads with the task-list and other designated tasks.
  • Share with management any complex cases.
  • Helping the Team in their daily duties.
