Your Impact

We are looking for a Financial Crime Analyst to join our AML/CFT team and support the continued development, implementation and maintenance of Entain NZ’s AML/CFT compliance programme.

Reporting to the Head of AML/CFT, you will play a key role in identifying, investigating and managing potential financial crime risks across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AML/CFT, financial crime, fraud monitoring or compliance experience who enjoys investigative work, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

A Day in the Life

  • Managing transaction monitoring alerts in the Jade 3rd Eye Transaction Monitoring system to identify potential money laundering risks
  • Reviewing watchlist alerts to identify potential politically exposed persons, sanctioned individuals and adverse media risks
  • Applying and reviewing AML/CFT controls frameworks
  • Completing ongoing Customer Due Diligence tasks as required
  • Supporting ad-hoc remediation projects, including B2B and contractor vetting activity
  • Maintaining AML/CFT working documents, including the Risk Assessment, Compliance Programme, annexures and process documentation

Your Strengths

  • Previous experience inAML/CFT, financial crime, compliance or investigations.
  • Experience supporting the operational execution of AML/CFT risk assessments and compliance programmes.
  • The ability to review existing processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Financial crime, fraud or AML/CFT investigative experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with large data sets.
  • A methodical and resilient approach to managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
