Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and process supplier invoices, staff reimbursements, and operational payments.
- Support payroll preparation by validating data and ensuring timely submission.
- Process bank transactions, including transfers, withdrawals, and approvals.
- Perform bank, mobile money and wallet reconciliations.
- Maintain up to date financial records and documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) regulations and iGaming industry guidelines.
- Prepare and file required tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax and Corporate Tax.
- Prepare and organize financial data for internal and external audits.
- Address auditor queries by providing timely and accurate information.
- Assist in preparing periodic budget and forecast reports.
- Support operational departments with finance-related information and guidance.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely payments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- CPA/ACCA qualification (ongoing or completed) is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in finance, accounting or treasury iGaming, fintech or telecom industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.
