Finance Manager - 12 month fixed-term contract

As Finance Manager – Marketing & Customer, you’ll help shape how more than $250 million in investment delivers value for the business and customers. Sitting at the heart of commercial finance, this role exists to provide insight, challenge thinking, and improve decision-making across a fast-moving customer and marketing environment. 

Your role, your impact 

Reporting to the Head of Finance – Wagering & Media, you will be the trusted finance partner to Marketing and Customer leaders. You’ll own financial performance, provide commercial insight, and lead one team member while influencing decisions across a significant operating budget. 

• Partner with customer and marketing leaders on financial decisions 
• Own budgeting, forecasting and month-end performance reporting 
• Provide modelling, analysis and commercial recommendations 
• Track sponsorship and promotional investment effectiveness 
• Prepare executive reporting and quarterly business reviews 
• Coach and develop one direct report 

Your game changing qualities 

You are a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, simplifying complexity and turning insights into action. 

• Experienced partnering with senior business stakeholders
• Strong financial modelling, analysis and reporting capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• CA or CPA Qualified
• High attention to detail across accounting, spend and reporting
• Commercial mindset with focus on opportunities, risks and returns
• Interest in sport, racing or wagering environments advantageous
