Let's start with the role
We are seeking a proactive and highly detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our Finance team in Brazil. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in finance by contributing to the day-to-day operations that ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our financial processes.
As a Finance Intern, you will:
- Prepare and organize financial documents, ensuring accuracy and proper filing;
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities, including invoice processing and payment tracking;
- Support monthly closing activities by gathering data and updating reports;
- Help reconcile financial records and identify discrepancies;
- Extract and analyze basic financial reports to support decision-making;
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by compiling relevant data;
- Support internal controls and compliance processes;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data;
- Maintain organized documentation across shared folders and systems;
- Participate in regular check-ins with your manager to align on priorities and receive feedback.
What you will bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Finance, Accounting, Administration, Economics, or a related field;
- Advanced English, sufficient for initial global communication tasks;
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking;
- Good organizational and time management skills;
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn;
- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets;
- Problem-solving mindset and sense of ownership;
- Clear and professional communication skills.
