Position Summary
 
The Field Services Coordination Manager is responsible for coordinating the warehouse operations for Field Service needs and managing all aspects of tooling activities within our manufacturing facility. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure timely availability and proper maintenance of tools required for production processes. This role may also lead a team of tooling coordinators, ensuring their effectiveness in supporting operational needs.

Position Responsibilities
  • Oversee quality program that maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
  • Oversee mobilization of technicians and adherence to policies.
  • Responsible for tooling and kitting shipments in alignment with Field Service schedule.
  • Responsible for tooling inventory and cycle counts.
  • Generate tooling reports and inventory sheets.
  • Create and maintain parts kits that a ready for deployment for Field Service job scopes.
  • Lead and manage multiple employees.
  • Plan and purchase tooling for current and future AeroAdvantage needs.
  • Generate and receive orders into the ReQlogic and MRO systems.
  • Ensure inspect of tools and equipment to ensure they are operable.
  • Oversee program to examine borescopes and electrical equipment and manage the calibration of equipment sent out.
  • Oversee inspect of come-a-longs and lifting equipment.
  • Issue tools, tool kits, materials, parts and equipment to field service department.
  • Prepare shipment and documentation for international transportation.
  • Maintain tool kit inventory, restocking, and housekeeping of warehouse areas while adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department for ordering replacement inventory levels.
  • Manage warehouse inventory system and establish row rack bin locations and monitor inventory levels.
  • Train new employees in warehouse processes.
  • Manage the storage and handling of chemicals, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Operate forklift overhead crane as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 Years experience turbine industry in tooling management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledgeable in LM6000 and LM2500 tooling for field use.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop train staff.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software for inventory management and documentation.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to tooling and equipment.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in tooling management or related field.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Additional Information:
  • Travel may be required to deliver tooling or inspect in field.
  • This position may require you to work weekends and be available to be on call.
