The Certified Field Service Technician II is responsible for the assembly, preventative maintenance, training, and service on Lottery equipment both in our facility and at the customer location. This position will provide day-to-day maintenance of our Lottery equipment. The Tech may train at retail location to provide them understanding of equipment usage and functionality. This position will travel to retail locations and may require overnight trips to different site locations.
Job Functions:
Stage, assemble, and maintain all lottery equipment in accordance with the Field Service Standards and procedures.
Ability to perform extensive field repair functions with little or no supervision on SCIQ Lottery equipment
Perform diagnosis for scheduled and unscheduled service calls
Interact with customers, retailers, and management
Train retail employees on the functionality on all lottery equipment
Adapt to a fast paced environment
Accountable and response to use, maintain, and secure all assigned tools, test equipment, terminals, subassemblies, parts and supplies
Communicate problems with management
Identify, troubleshoot, and repair any lottery equipment problems in accordance to the Field Service Protocol
Complete site surveys from a field service perspective as well as a marketing placement aspect
Ability to learn and have an understanding of our Instant Product line
Aassist the retail location with any questions or concerns they have with our equipment
Communicate any new features, games, or product that is supported
Ability to perform vehicle management on their company-provided vehicle
Work with other departments in support of site sales and support goals
Travel to lottery locations
Travel to corporate locations on an as needed basis
Other duties as assigned
Education
Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
Skills/Abilities:
Thorough understanding of all areas of computer software and hardware technologies
Must have strong communication, group presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to convey thoughts, ideas and training materials to all participants.
Bilingual a plus
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to compile and analyze statistical information
Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies
Must possess a valid driver’s license for the state in which you are based
Advanced mechanical assembly skills
Strong problem solving and resolution skills
Ability to lift 30 lbs
Ability to work in a team-office environment
Ability to operate office equipment, but not limited to, personal computer and telephone
Ability to sit, stand, bend, stretch at a minimum of 50% of the time for any or all of the movements described
