Own delivery for the games: plan, align, de-risk, ship - consistently.
Keep the SDLC tight: discovery → implementation → QA → release → post-release stability.
Make engineering effort predictable: capacity planning, scope control, dependency management, release forecasting.
Run crisp execution rituals that actually work: grooming, planning, risk reviews, retros that lead to change.
Build alignment across Product, Art, Animation, QA, Tech leads, Platform/Release - no silos, no surprises.
Raise delivery quality: Definition of Ready/Done, release gates, incident learnings, recurring bottleneck removal.
Coach engineers and leaders: expectations, feedback, growth, hiring support, onboarding.
And the key part:
You don’t code every day, but when the tribe hits a real problem you jump in hands-on:
drive a technical deep dive with the team,
help debug / triage / isolate the root cause,
pair with engineers to model “how we do it,”
and ensure the fix becomes a repeatable standard (not a one-time hero moment).
What You Bring
Strong experience in iGaming / slots game development (must-have). You know the real pipeline: idea → production → release → live ops.
Solid SDLC and delivery mastery: you’ve shipped high-frequency releases and know what breaks teams.
You can speak the engineers’ language and earn trust - even if you’re not committing code daily.
You’re the type who can go from “strategy” to “let’s open the issue and fix the process today.”
You lead through ownership and clarity — not through status meetings.
Nice to have:
Live Ops / multiple parallel releases experience.
Strong QA/release practices (risk-based testing, regression strategy, release gating).
Understanding of platform constraints in iGaming (integrations, compliance, operational risk).
Experience with Node.js - TS/JS; Pixi.js/Phaser.js, Spine.
