Role Overview:

We are building a Martech & Growth Intelligence organization and looking for a Engineering Manager to lead this journey. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in data-driven growth, customer engagement, and marketing technology, preferably with hands-on experience in iGaming, sports betting, and online casino. You will act both as a technical reference and as a strategic leader, driving projects that impact acquisition, retention, and monetization at scale — creating impact in areas such as referral programs, bonus engines, cashback, payback optimization, campaign effectiveness, customer segmentation, churn reduction, and personalized offers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and data specialists focused on Martech solutions.
  • Design and scale systems for: Referral and affiliate programs, Bonus and promotion engines, Cashback and payback optimization, Customer lifecycle management (onboarding, engagement, reactivation), Segmentation and personalization of campaigns, A/B testing frameworks and marketing attribution models, LTV, CAC, ROI and cohort analysis for marketing decisions
  • Ensure scalability, accuracy, and observability of Martech pipelines in production.
  • Partner with product, growth, marketing and compliance teams to balance business goals, user experience, and regulatory needs.
  • Oversee the adoption of AWS, Databricks, Python, PySpark, and Martech platforms as core technologies.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and ROI-driven decision-making.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

  • Strong track record in Martech, growth engineering, or data-driven marketing.
  • Hands-on expertise in building and scaling: referrals, bonus systems, cashback/payback models, campaign optimization, and personalization engines.
  • Proven experience in iGaming, sports betting, or online casino is mandatory.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing engineering or data teams.
  • Solid knowledge of Python, PySpark, Databricks, and AWS (or equivalent stack).
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work in a global, distributed environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with MLOps applied to marketing models (e.g., campaign optimization, recommendation, uplift modeling).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and attribution platforms (Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adjust, AppsFlyer, etc.).
  • Comfort in executive-level communication and influencing decision-making.
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory aspects in bonus, cashback, and referral systems.
