What’s the position?

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing Product & Technology organization at Hard Rock Digital. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a key contributor in building, scaling, and securing our next-generation gaming and entertainment platforms.

You will design and implement hybrid cloud infrastructure spanning AWS, on-premises systems, and third-party platforms in heavily regulated environments. This role requires a strong passion for automation, scalability, observability, and security. You will take ownership of delivering reliable, high-quality solutions, while thriving in a fast-paced environment with a startup mindset.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

  • Implement AWS and hybrid infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt

  • Build, manage, and optimize containerized environments (EKS, Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Automate build, deployment, and delivery pipelines across production, staging, and development environments

  • Design and implement observability, monitoring, and alerting systems for reliability and performance

  • Embed security by design, implementing guardrails, access controls, and compliance-driven automation

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of reliability

What are we looking for?

We want someone who thrives on solving complex problems with innovative and pragmatic solutions. The ideal candidate isn’t just focused on “how to build,” but on “why we’re building” — aligning technical execution with customer impact to create the best digital entertainment experience possible.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar role

  • Deep expertise with AWS services and cloud-native architectures

  • Strong containerization experience (EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)

  • Proven experience building infrastructure as code with Terraform/Terragrunt

  • Solid background in automation & scripting with Python and Shell

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)

  • Knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, etc.)

  • Familiarity with networking, security best practices, and compliance frameworks

  • AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Admin) is a strong plus

What’s in it for you?

We offer our employees more than just competitive compensation. Our team benefits includes:

  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits

  • Hybrid and Remote work

  • Flexible vacation allowance

  • Start up culture backed by a secure, global brand
