About Flutter Functions:
The Flutter Functions division is a key component of Flutter Entertainment, responsible for providing essential support and services across the organization. The division encompasses various corporate functions, including finance, legal, human resources, technology, and more, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment throughout the company
Role Overview:
The Employee Relations (ER) Specialist is responsible for managing and resolving employee relations issues to ensure a positive, fair, and compliant work environment. This role involves supporting managers and employees in addressing workplace conflicts, grievances, and policy matters while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies. The ER Specialist will provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and collaborate with HR and legal teams to maintain a healthy workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing support to HRBPs, guidance to employees and managers on workplace issues, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, including misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and other workplace issues.
- Advise managers on handling disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Assist in mediating workplace conflicts and fostering a positive working environment that supports employee engagement and productivity.
- Supporting the organization through reorganization processes
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to address concerns and escalate issues where necessary.
- Is responsible for updating, obtaining sign-off from relevant parties and communicating the Internal Regulation document in the organisation.
- Ensure that all employee relations practices comply with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Support the development and implementation of employee relations policies and procedures to promote a fair and respectful work environment.
- Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and ensure the organization’s practices are in line with current legal requirements.
- Partner with legal teams to mitigate risk and ensure compliance in employee relations matters.
- Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on employee relations topics such as workplace behavior, conflict management, and company policies.
- Support the development and delivery of training programs aimed at enhancing employee relations skills among managers and HR teams.
- Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and track trends to identify potential areas for improvement in workplace practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional & cross-divisional teams, including legal, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment on compliance-related matters, and interpret and apply employment laws and regulations;
- Analyze employee relations data and provide regular reports to HR leadership, offering insights and recommendations for improving employee engagement and retention.
- Is an active part of the working groups assigned to deliver on the key location initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification is a plus.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in human resources with a focus on employee relations, investigations, and labor law compliance.
- Strong understanding of local employment laws and regulations, with experience navigating complex employee relations issues.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information and resolve workplace disputes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound recommendations based on data and policy.
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Experience in labor relations or working in a unionized environment (if applicable).
- Experience in conducting workplace investigations and resolving employee conflicts.
- Ability to navigate cultural nuances and work effectively across different organizational levels.
