E-commerce Project Manager ( Maternity Cover) Fixed term
Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of e-commerce projects. Role involves working with cross-department teams, coordinating with third parties, and ensuring that Store operates efficiently while improving customer experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution:
• Lead e-commerce platform projects.
• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Cross-department Collaboration:
• Coordinate with internal teams (social, blog, loyalty, lifecycle, customer support)
• Manage relationships with third-party service providers.
• Ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
Platform & Operations Management:
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the e-commerce platform.
• Ensure platform functionality, usability, and overall performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot platform issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Monitor performance of implemented automated solutions and identify process automation opportunities.
Marketing & Promotions Integration:
• Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Ensure integration of promotional content on the platform.
• Track campaign performance and suggest improvements.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Monitor key e-commerce performance metrics (sales, transactions, traffic, conversion rates).
• Generate regular reports on project progress, sales, and customer engagement.
• Use data insights to inform decisions and enhancements.
Process Improvement & Optimisation:
• Identify opportunities to improve platform functionality and customer experience.
• Conduct post-launch reviews to assess successes and areas for improvement for future implementations.
• Ensure all project deliverables are up to standards and align with the brand and customer expectations.
• Stay up to date on e-commerce best practices, tools, and emerging technologies.
