Dual Rate F&B Supervisor/Server - Full Time (Horseshoe Hammond)

Rate of Pay: - $10/HR + Tips per hour when working as Food and beverage server. $22.00 per hour when working as a supervisor.

DUAL RATE SUPERVISOR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• · Supervise all employees engaged in bartending and serving for a specific outlet.
• · Review manifest and staffing levels to determine appropriate work assignments for the staff.
• · Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with standard procedures.
• · Understand all aspects of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• · Develop schedules to reflect staffing levels needed to give optimal guest service.
• · Check out restaurant cashiers, cocktail servers or other employees with cash drawers to ensure cash balances.
• · Train new employees and update all employees on new procedures or policies.
• · Conduct a physical inventory of bar ware and requisition replacement items is needed.
• · Coach and counsel all employees when needed to reinforce department and company policy and procedures.
• · Maintain a well-informed shift by conducting daily shift meetings.
• · Other duties as assigned.

FOOD & BEVERAGE EESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• · Set up room and ensure adequate supply of liquor stock.
• · Bartender in the Pavilion or on the vessel.
• · Clean furniture, mirrors, ashtrays, stock buffet and put out newspapers.
• · Stock bar, mix and prepare drink orders.
• · Wait on overflow tables.
• · Operate the cash register to tally orders and comps.
• · Respond to guest’s requests and questions.
• · Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly.
• · Other duties as assigned.
