Position Summary

The Director of Digital Marketing, iLottery will provide strategic leadership and oversight for digital marketing and CRM initiatives across all jurisdictions.  This role requires a highly strategic marketer who will advance Scientific Games’ role as a thought leader within the iLottery industry.  Simultaneously, the Director is responsible for playing a hands-on role in strategy execution in partnership with their team.  This role will guide and empower a team of marketing managers and analysts to drive player acquisition, engagement, and retention.  The Director will focus on fostering innovation, optimizing performance through data-driven decision-making, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and lead the execution of a comprehensive digital marketing and CRM strategy for Loyalty and iLottery programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, jurisdictional requirements, and revenue/retention objectives.
  • Capability Building: Build out internal marketing capabilities, identifying process improvements and new revenue generating opportunities for both our Lottery partners and Scientific Games.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of digital marketing and CRM professionals, providing strategic guidance, career development, and coaching to achieve key business outcomes.
  • Acquisition Strategy: Oversee and advance the paid media and acquisition program for iLottery partners.  Provide thought leadership for partners and advance paid media capabilities.
  • Client Onboarding & Implementation: Oversee the seamless onboarding and integration of new iLottery jurisdictions onto the CRM platform, ensuring timely execution and positive client experience.
  • Campaign & Bonusing Strategy: Guide the planning, execution, and continuous optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns and bonusing initiatives to maximize engagement, efficiency, and ROI.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Direct the analysis of KPIs, player behavior, and segmentation performance, leveraging insights to refine targeting, personalization, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure alignment across marketing, CRM, product, creative, and external vendor teams to deliver cohesive initiatives that enhance player experience and support business priorities.
  • Advanced Segmentation & Personalization: Partner with product teams on data mapping and segmentation attribute development to enhance and drive precision targeting and personalized marketing across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Market & Industry Intelligence: Conduct ongoing market research and monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and consumer behaviors to identify opportunities and inform strategic adjustments.
  • Sales Enablement: Support strategic sales initiatives by leveraging industry expertise to identify opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver tailored marketing/CRM solutions that drive adoption.
  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, technology partners, and service providers to enhance digital marketing and CRM effectiveness.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all marketing and CRM activities comply with jurisdictional regulations, legal requirements, and responsible gaming best practices.
  • Reporting & Insights: Oversee the creation of performance dashboards and reports for senior leadership, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the CRM and digital marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and maximum return on investment.
  • Talent Management: Lead team hiring, training, and ongoing development initiatives to build and sustain a best-in-class digital marketing and CRM team.

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing and developing teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Desired:

·         Experience in Lottery, iGaming or entertainment industry

·         Experience working with distributed teams

·         Experience with Optimove, Appsflyer
