We are looking for a skilled Mid‑Level Database Developer to join our growing team in Bulgaria.
In this role, you will build, maintain, and optimize database solutions that power our large‑scale content aggregation platforms.
You will work closely with data engineers, backend developers, and product teams to ensure our systems deliver fast, reliable, and high‑quality content to users across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities
Invent, develop, and maintain relational database systems (MS-SQL) supporting high‑volume content ingestion and retrieval.
Build efficient data pipelines and transformations to support aggregation workflows.
Optimize database performance, indexing strategies, and query efficiency across multiple environments.
Collaborate with engineering teams to compose scalable database architectures for new features.
Ensure data quality, data consistency, and integrity across ingestion, storage, and distribution systems.
Develop and maintain database documentation, schemas, and standards.
Supervise database health, capacity, and performance; implement proactive improvements.
Participate in code reviews, invent sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support incident resolution and root‑cause analysis for database‑related issues.
Chip in to automation initiatives in deployment, monitoring, and data validation.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of experience as a Database Developer, SQL Developer, or similar role.
Strong proficiency in MS SQL.
Hands-on experience in writing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and optimizing sophisticated queries.
Experience working with large datasets and high-traffic environments.
Understanding of data modelling, database schema build, and normalization.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Good level of English (written and spoken).
Nice-to-Have ExpExperience in businesses passionate about crafting or collecting information. inesses.
Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, etc.).
