Job Description

Ready to level up your career?  

Playtech Managed Services is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to help support new products related to predictive modeling and machine learning in the iGaming industry. This role will be a key member of the Product team supporting the advancement of new and innovative products for a strategic partner in a regulated market. The initial focus will be on incident detection models, with expansion to customer behavior prediction, fraud detection, and player lifetime value modeling.

Your influential mission. You will... 

  • Execute and support PTMS's predictive modeling and machine learning initiatives.
  • Work with the Product team to develop data-driven features and analytical solutions.
  • Build predictive models from scratch, initially focusing on incident detection systems.
  • Deploy machine learning models to production environments and monitor their performance.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets from multiple sources, including real-time and batch data.
  • Collaborate with Technical teams to integrate models into existing systems and workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and statistical approaches.
  • Support departmental stakeholders with advanced analytics and model insights.
  • Monitor and optimize model performance, accuracy, and reliability over time.

Qualifications

Components for success. You... 

  • Have a strong experience in building predictive models and machine learning solutions from scratch.
  • Demonstrated expertise in deploying models to production environments.
  • Have 2+ years of experience in data science roles with proven model deployment experience.
  • Are fluent in English.
  • Are experienced in working with both real-time and batch data processing.
  • Possess strong programming skills in Python or other preferred data science languages.
  • Are experienced working with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Are familiar with our industry’s metrics and KPIs.
  • Are an excellent problem-solver with proven attention to detail and analytical thinking.
