What You'll Do
- Collect, clean, and coordinate financial and transactional data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, and software systems.
- Write and maintain Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and automation of routine tasks.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python.
- Automate data ingestion from APIs, databases, flat files, and third-party systems.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and collaborators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay current with industry trends, standard methodologies, and new technologies in finance and data analysis.
- Ensure data quality and integrity.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in BI and Analytics or related field (Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred).
- At least 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical collaborators.
- Experience delivering end-to-end data products.
- Proven experience ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with a focus on delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience working in the gaming industry is a plus.
Technical Requirements
- Advanced/Expert in Excel.
- Advanced in Power BI (or similar BI tool).
- Advanced in SQL.
- Intermediate/Advanced in Python (pandas, sklearn).
- Nice to have: IBM Planning Analytics.
