About the Role

The Cyber Awareness and Training Lead will be responsible for defining the strategy, leading and operating the information security and cyber security awareness and training programme in Flutter Functions. The role-holder will also co-ordinate the global cyber awareness community of practice including cyber information sharing,  and common service offerings globally across all Flutter Brand companies. The role will work with technical teams to translate emerging threats, attacker techniques, and incident trends into clear, practical, and actionable guidance that drives secure behaviours across a diverse workforce. You will innovate to create an approach that provides a concise and clear awareness message, using tried and tested as well as imaginative methods to deliver content. The role has a creative aspect to it, and you will be able to share ideas and foster a collaborative approach with awareness leads in other parts of our business, through our community of practice. A successful candidate will have a passion for cybersecurity awareness and be able to balance a day-to-day operational role with broader coordination, building global awareness and governance leadership.

What you’ll do

  • To lead the information security / cyber security awareness and training capability for Flutter Functions.

  • Defining and operating the cyber awareness and training capability programme, adjusting as required to factor emerging threats and feedback.

  • Leading and growing the global cyber awareness community of practice (CoP), championing and promoting collaboration with cyber awareness colleagues across Flutter

  • Influencing and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, departments and teams to facilitate the delivery of cyber security awareness and training and foster a security-conscious culture.

  • Crafting creative and engaging ways to increase employee participation and engagement in cyber security awareness and training.

  • Crafting and delivering regular awareness materials, bulletins, broadcasts and testing programmes.

  • Defining and maintaining cyber awareness training for specialist key risk areas / user communities.

  • Maintaining and further developing the cross divisional information security and cyber awareness mandatory training content, in collaboration with joint content owners.

  • Measuring the effectiveness of the cyber security awareness and training programme to ensure it meets its intended objectives.

  • Building and owning the annual cyber awareness month campaign in Flutter Functions as a collaboration with the other Flutter brands and cyber awareness community.

What you’ll need:

  • Significant experience working in or owning an enterprise-level cybersecurity training and awareness programme

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas of information security, cyber security, risk management, or IT roles.

  • Ability to translate complex technical threats and cyber risks into clear, actionable, and relevant guidance.

  • Strong capability to tailor and present messages to different audiences, risk profiles, and business roles, ensuring training is practical and behaviour focused.

  • Ability to engage with global stakeholders across Flutter and develop knowledge programmes to educate and influence colleague behaviour on cyber related issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).

  • Passion for creativity and thinking outside the box

  • Experience with instructional design or video editing preferred

  • Understanding of real-world cyber threats, attack vectors, and adversary behaviours and how to translate these into educational outcomes

  • Proven leadership experience, including strong interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong project management skills with a consistent track record of successfully planning and delivering work product

  • Comfort working across global locations and timezones
