Overview of the role:

We are looking for a Creative Project Manager to join our Content and Creative Services Team. You will manage and organise briefs end to end into our creative, production and design studios. What drives us is delivering exceptional, tailored to channel, design, creative and content to inspire play, engage and expand PokerStars’ audiences and we now need a highly organised PM who will be the main point of contact between stakeholders and our internal creative teams.  They will manage projects from initial brief to final delivery, ensuring all milestones are met, with a consistent approach to timings, approvals and execution.  They will be able to identify any potential issues and solve problems before they arise.

Reporting into the Production Executive, the Creative Project Manager will form part of the department wide production management team, those colleagues will provide support whilst organising the logistics, budget and personnel for our varied offerings such as live streams, TV shows, social content and campaign work. 

Day to day this role will work alongside the Creative Services Manager and Traffic Manager to ensure resource is available, timelines are workable, and deadlines are hit for every brief that lands into the department.  This role requires outstanding organisational and communication skills, someone who will proactively liaise with all parties involved in the project, however big or small.  We need a natural problem solver with a can-do attitude, someone who can manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously whilst staying calm under pressure.    

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

Our Leeds office is at the heart of our business. The 8-storey building has an onsite staff gym and cafeteria, two heated rooftop terraces, a dedicated gaming room and a staircase amphitheatre. The space brings all our teams under one roof in the biggest private letting office in Yorkshire.

What you’ll do:

Project Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee projects from initial conception right through to final approvals

  • Ensure the correct triage at the brief stage

  • Align design managers prior to work commencing

Resource Allocation

  • Assist in resource planning and tweak allocations as priorities shift

Communication

  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, keeping them always updated with progress

  • Be the voice of the creative teams, fostering great relationships with all and offering support when necessary  

Workflow and Process Improvement

  • Use previous experiences to establish and refine processes for better efficiency

  • Ensure a smooth hand over between the different teams involved in the project

  • Initiate debriefs for effective learnings for future work

Risk Management

  • Identify and address potential risks and issues that may arise during the creative processes, heading them off before becoming critical

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years' experience of project management in a creative and design studio

  • Excellent knowledge of creative, design and production process across multiple disciplines

  • Good knowledge of Adobe CS software on Mac platform and Microsoft office

  • Good knowledge of project management software (currently Jira and Workfront is used)

  • Highly organised
