The Compliance Administrator will provide administrative support within the Compliance Team to enhance efficiency and productivity.

What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary contact for all AML/CFT/CPF compliance matters
  • Taking initiative and being responsible for collection, compiling and checking of documentation and information for Due Diligence tasks.
  • Improved Record-Keeping: The Compliance Administrator should maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the company's affairs, including its compliance and governance documentation.
  • Working with teams across the business to obtain required documentation and fulfil requests to improve stakeholder experience.
  • Bringing the organisation into a new era of productivity and modernisation.
  • Ensuring collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices among colleagues to help establish a robust digital ecosystem to ensure good company governance.
  • Promoting Data-Driven approaches for filing of key documents applicable to the Compliance space overall.
  • Overseeing the implementation of internal compliance frameworks and ensuring proper reporting and recordkeeping.
  • Ensuring ongoing access to customer due diligence and transaction records.
  • Overseeing the implementation of internal controls and maintaining records as well as conducting ongoing monitoring and establishing continuity mechanisms to assist with compliance duties.
  • Ad-hock tasks allocated by your manager.

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Ideally LLB, BCom, Risk Management, BA or Similar.

Post GradCompliance related professional courses would be advantageous

  • Prior working experience (2 to 3 years ) in an anti-money laundering compliance function would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and changing priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types, gameplay and market trends

  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to use pivot tables and work with an advanced statistical database and statistical methods and functions.
