  • Build and lead a high-performing technology team (5+ members) across software development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Assess current capabilities, identify gaps, and hire top talent to support the company’s global growth.
  • Establish clear development processes, performance standards, and documentation protocols.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration across international tech teams.
  • Mentor and guide team members through professional development and regular performance reviews.

  • Architect and oversee development of all SiGMA digital platforms, including event websites, registration systems, and partner portals.
  • Lead the creation of a global networking app to enhance delegate interaction before, during, and after events.
  • Manage integrations between event registration tools, CRM systems, websites, and internal management dashboards.
  • Implement AI-driven technologies to optimize user experience, automate workflows, and enhance engagement analytics.
  • Ensure all platforms are secure, scalable, and optimized for high traffic during flagship events.

Infrastructure & Security

  • Design and implement IT infrastructure across four global offices (Malta, Cyprus, Manila, São Paulo).
  • Establish security protocols, compliance policies, and global data privacy standards (GDPR, etc.).
  • Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and ensure robust backup and disaster recovery systems.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and ensure service quality for all technology partners and suppliers.
  • Maintain reliable communication systems, productivity tools, and digital workspaces across offices.

Strategic Planning & Innovation

  • Develop a technology roadmap aligned with SiGMA’s global expansion and strategic objectives.
  • Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, AR/VR, data analytics) to enhance event experiences.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, introducing tools that streamline operations and improve attendee insights.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Events, and Operations teams to ensure all systems directly support business goals.
  • Continuously evaluate new tech opportunities that position SiGMA as a pioneer in smart event technology.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Manage the global technology budget and allocate resources effectively across projects and offices.
  • Evaluate ROI and implement cost-efficient solutions that scale with the company’s international footprint.
  • Maintain oversight of procurement, vendor management, and long-term licensing strategies.

What You'll Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 8+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in senior or architectural roles.
  • Proven track record in leading technical teams of 5 or more members.
