CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

Lead accounting for Lithuania’s operations.
As the sole accountant for all Lithuanian legal entities, you’ll oversee the full finance spectrum with support from our Group controlling team in Latvia.

Job responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting roles e.g., Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, etc.

• Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts operations.

• Perform cost tracking, monitoring, and controls.

• Review & approve payment orders, payment batches.

• Oversee monthly closing in accordance with local legislation and the requirements of the Group, perform Month End journal entries.

• Cooperation with the group FSS (Finance Service Share) Team and group controlling department.

• Preparation and execution of payroll (for 30 employees).

• Preparation of VAT returns and other tax settlements and forms.

• Preparation of annual and extraordinary financial and income tax reports.

• Cooperation with external and internal auditors.
  

Our expectations:

• Minimum college degree in economy or similar field.

• 3+ years of proven experience in full-cycle accounting.

• Experience in work within an international structure is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of accounting and tax issues.

• Intermediate or higher level of English.

• Hands-on in MS Office, particularly good capabilities in MS Excel.

• Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems (knowledge of Oracle is an advantage).

• Good planning and communication competences, willingness and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

• Ability to work independently.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and a structured approach to work.
