Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Channel Manager to join PokerStars.es commercial team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management, optimization, and execution of our email and push notification.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding customer communications within the Spanish online gaming industry. They will be passionate about delivering personalized, timely, and relevant communications that drive customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.

What you’ll do:

  • Channel Planning: Develop and implement customer communications across email and push to support customer marketing initiatives

  • Campaign Management: Lead the end-to-end process of marketing campaigns across all assigned channels, from briefing and segmentation to deployment and post-campaign analysis. Ensure all campaigns are on-brand, on-time, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

  • Channel Optimization: Continuously test and optimize channel performance through A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation methods. Focus on improving key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and churn reduction.

  • Customer Segmentation & Personalization: Work closely with Generosity, Marketing and Data teams to develop customer segments. Leverage data and insights to create highly personalized and relevant messages that resonate with different customer cohorts.

  • Performance Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators for each marketing channel. Provide regular insights and recommendations to stakeholders on channel effectiveness and areas for improvement.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all communications are fully compliant with gambling regulations and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR). Stay up-to-date with evolving regulations and industry standard processes.

  • Partner Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Brand, CRM, Data, and Compliance, to align on marketing initiatives and ensure a seamless customer journey.

  • Technical Management: Oversee the technical integration and performance of marketing platforms and CRM tools. Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar CRM or customer marketing role, specifically managing channels like email, push, or SMS, preferably within the gambling, gaming, or a highly regulated e-commerce sector.

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with at least one major marketing automation platform (e.g., Selligent, Optimove, etc.). A solid understanding of data segmentation tools and principles is crucial.

  • Analytical Attitude: Strong analytical skills coupled with the capacity to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficient in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.).

  • Regulatory Knowledge: A strong understanding of the compliance and responsible gambling regulations governing the gambling sector in key markets (e.g., UKGC, MGA).

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate strategies and results to various partners. Spanish language desirable

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in campaign setup, QA, and compliance checks.

  • Dedicated to Outcomes: A proactive individual with a history of improving important business measures (e.g., retention, lifetime value, engagement).
