As our
Business Development Manager – GCC, you’ll spearhead MedTech World’s growth across the
United Arab Emirates and wider Gulf Cooperation Council region—with a special focus on our flagship Dubai event and other strategic initiatives in the Middle East. You’ll open doors, forge relationships, and drive partnerships that position MedTech World as the go-to platform for MedTech and HealthTech innovation in the region.


Working closely with our CEO, you’ll be our
frontline connector
between the GCC’s thriving healthcare ecosystem and MedTech World’s global network, shaping a powerful calendar of collaborations and opportunities.


What You'll Do


  • Lead GCC market growth – identify and pursue sponsorship, partnership, and governmental engagement opportunities across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.
  • Drive Dubai 2026 success – develop and execute business strategies to maximise participation and sponsorship for our UAE summit.
  • Build regional relationships – engage with hospitals, healthcare leaders, investors, startups, service providers, and industry regulators.
  • Tailor proposals – create compelling, value-driven sponsorship packages and collaboration pitches that resonate with GCC stakeholders.
  • Act as the face of MedTech World in the region – represent us at key GCC industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
  • Monitor trends – keep a finger on the pulse of healthcare, MedTech, and digital health developments in the Gulf, reporting insights back to the team.
  • Manage the full sales cycle – from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless and high-touch experience for GCC partners.


What You'll need to Bring


  • Proven success in business development, sales, or partnerships within the GCC market.
  • Strong network and cultural understanding of the UAE and Gulf region.
  • Experience in MedTech, HealthTech, digital healthcare, or a related sector is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • The ability to thrive independently while collaborating with a global team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the GCC.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
