Business Analyst

Business Analysts help our teams and stakeholders towards higher levels of effectiveness.  They are responsible for eliciting requirements, prioritizing and managing multiple stakeholders to ensure clear and mon-conflicting requirements. The BA will also assist in moving towards the adoption of agile by facilitating the cultural change necessary for sustained success.​  

This role is a 12 month FTC - Gambling industry experience is desired or highly regulated environments.

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for leading requirements analysis and process improvement, supporting business case development, project implementation, testing and following up on benefits realization.  

You will be part of an exciting team who supply critical support for a range of business development projects through their full lifecycle, with a strong focus on business value and customer experience.

What you will do

• Work closely with the business and/or 3rd parties to translate needs into effective solutions and processes; or, where needed, challenge business objectives.
• Effectively engage with mid to senior level stakeholders.
• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis and management.
• Manage requirements in response to changing circumstances to ensure business agility

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience working on complex and challenging projects in a variety of delivery environments.
• A deep understanding of IT software development methods is needed.

Essential:  

• In depth understanding of the product lifecycle and delivery of business outcomes 
• Proven experience as an Agile BA, with a focus on digital transformation projects.  
• Deep understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their application in digital transformation contexts.  
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to embrace Agile principles and practices.  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.  
• Experience in leading requirements for large projects/initiatives with the ability to adapt to changes in scope and priority. 
• Experienced in working in a highly regulated environment, where continual change and agility is the norm. 
• Experienced in working across multiple disciplines engineering, product, delivery and managing expectations. 
• Experienced in Continuous Improvement with the ability to systematically identify, analyze, and implement incremental enhancements and optimizations in processes, practices, and products. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement.  
• Strong documentation creation and version controls.  
• Experience with Agile toolsets such as Jira, Confluence, or similar tools preferred.  

Desired:

• Experience with Regulatory requirements within the Sports Betting industry across multiple global jurisdictions, including the UK and Ireland. 

This role is a 12 Month FTC with potential to extend.
