As a Business Analyst on our Ad Tech team, you will support our Growth function by providing operational marketing analytics, managing partner platforms, and ensuring accurate campaign tracking and reporting. What You'll Do
- Provide operational analyses to assist User Acquisition and Growth groups by working with partner platform dashboards and exported datasets.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide timely, actionable insights to improve marketing execution.
- Respond quickly to operational performance questions that do not require internal data modelling or Data Science methodologies.
- Take responsibility for the daily oversight, tracking, and quality control of marketing technology platforms, including AppsFlyer and other advertising partner tools.
- Monitor partner dashboards to identify anomalies, tracking issues, and reporting discrepancies.
- Coordinate with external partners and bring up data issues involving internal systems to the Data Analytics team.
- Configure, monitor, and report on partner-native incrementality experiments (e.g., AppsFlyer Incrementality, Meta Conversion Lift).
- Collaborate with Data Analytics and Data Science teams to ensure accurate implementation and interpretation of experiments.
- Support operational execution while methodology and statistical evaluation remain with Data Science.
- Assist with onboarding, integration, and continuous quality assurance of external marketing and analytics platforms.
- Manage relationships with external marketing technology vendors and ensure reliable platform operations.
- Validate partner data and coordinate issue resolution across internal and external collaborators.
- Aggregate spend, impressions, installs, attribution, and performance metrics across advertising partners.
- Produce recurring operational reports for User Acquisition and Growth collaborators.
- Identify reporting inconsistencies and bring up reconciliation issues to the Data Analytics team.
- Track campaign spend against planned budgets and pacing targets.
- Proactively flag deviations, delivery risks, or unexpected performance changes.
- Build and maintain lightweight operational dashboards using partner-exported data and spreadsheet-based reporting tools.
- Ensure accurate implementation of campaign tracking, UTM structures, AppsFlyer links, and event configurations.
- Collaborate with User Acquisition teams to confirm tracking prior to campaign launches.
- Monitor attribution health across partner platforms and advance technical issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with User Acquisition, Marketing, Data Analytics, Data Science, and Engineering teams to facilitate smooth campaign implementation.
- Translate operational business requirements into actionable requests for centralized data teams when deeper analytical work is required.
- Help improve operational processes across marketing technology and reporting workflows.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Ad Operations, Growth Analytics, or a similar role.
- Experience engaging with digital marketing platforms, mobile advertising, or performance marketing.
- Hands-on experience with Mobile Measurement Partners (AppsFlyer preferred).
- Strong understanding of mobile attribution and marketing performance metrics.
- Experience using advertising platform dashboards (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Unity, AppLovin, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance.
- Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent communication and collaborator management skills.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in mobile applications, gaming, or performance marketing (preferred).
- Familiarity with SKAdNetwork (SKAN) and privacy-centric mobile measurement (preferred).
- Experience with partner-native incrementality testing tools (preferred).
- Experience collaborating with external marketing technology platforms and analytics providers (preferred).
- Exposure to BI tools such as Looker, Redash, Tableau, or Power BI (preferred).
- Basic understanding of SQL for reading or validating data (not production development) (preferred).
- Experience with campaign tagging, tracking links, and event configuration (preferred).
- Experience in mobile gaming, especially free-to-play or social casino (nice to have).
- Experience assisting User Acquisition teams (nice to have).
- Familiarity with retargeting platforms and attribution ecosystems (nice to have).
- Experience with creative analytics platforms and marketing automation tools is a plus.
- Experience with MMP products (nice to have).
