Who we’re looking for

The Brand Social Lead is a creative leadership role responsible for defining and elevating the craft, design quality, and visual expression of the brand across all social channels. This role focuses on shaping how ideas are executed ensuring that every piece of content meets the highest standards of storytelling, design, and brand consistency.

Why we need you

Working closely with social teams, studios, and agency partners, the Brand Social Lead provides clear creative direction on visual identity (VI), design systems, and best practices. They ensure that social output is not only consistent but creatively distinctive, high-quality, and aligned with the overall brand vision.

This is not a publishing or community management role, this is about craft, creative direction, and executional excellence at scale.
 

What you’ll be doing

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Creative Craft leadership

    • Own and evolve the application of the brand’s visual identity across social channels

    • Translate brand guidelines into clear, usable frameworks for social execution

    • Ensure consistent use of typography, colour, motion, layout, and imagery

    • Balance consistency with flexibility to enable creative expression within guardrails

  • Design Standards & Best Practice

    • Establish and maintain best practice guidelines for social design and content creation

    • Create toolkits, templates, and systems to enable scalable, high-quality output

    • Drive continuous improvement in craft across static, motion, and video content

    • Stay close to emerging design trends and translate them into brand-relevant execution

  • Campaign Craft & Execution

    • Partner with Brand and Creative Leads to ensure campaign ideas are executed to the highest standard on social

    • Guide how campaign assets are adapted and crafted for social environments

    • Ensure strong attention to detail in every asset, from headline hierarchy to motion transitions

    • Elevate campaigns through thoughtful, high-quality execution rather than volume

  • Consistency Across Markets

    • Ensure creative consistency across all regions and markets

    • Guide local teams on applying brand and design systems correctly

    • Support market adaptations without compromising core creative integrity

    • Maintain a unified and recognisable brand presence globally

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

  • A strong creative leader with a background in design, art direction, or content creation

  • Deep experience in social content, with a focus on craft and execution

  • Portfolio demonstrating high-quality, design-led work across digital and social

  • Exceptional eye for design, detail, and visual storytelling

  • Strong understanding of visual identity systems and how they translate into content

  • Ability to guide and improve creative output through clear, constructive feedback

  • Strong understanding of production across static, motion, and video

  • Able to balance creative ambition with scalable execution

  • Actively involved from the outset of campaign development to shape how ideas will be crafted and executed on social

  • Acts as the final creative gatekeeper for social quality and brand expression

  • Consistently high-quality, design-led social output across all channels

  • A clear, distinctive, and recognizable brand presence in every market

  • Social content that reflects strong craft, attention to detail, and creative integrity

  • Teams and partners producing better work through clear standards and direction

  • Scalable systems that enable quality at volume without compromising creativity
