As a Bet Acceptance Trader you will be a member of the team responsible for all ‘exceptional’ bet management via Over Ask for UK and Rest of World brands whilst being at the forefront of analysing significant customers and bets that do not require the Over Ask function.

Reporting to the Trading Manager you will be part of the Trading Team, who will create the odds for a wide range of sports and events, and create the best and safest service for our customers.

What you will do

• Manage the acceptance of bets in line with the policies and practices outlined by the Bet Acceptance Management Team.
• Proactively identify positive and negative customer traits and behaviours.
• Ensure that all profiling recommendations and relevant information are delivered to the customer profiling team in line with the procedures set out.
• Ensure that the communication of all significant and noteworthy bets to the Trading Team is undertaken in a timely manner.
• Through the usage of monitors/trackers, maintain visibility of customer betting activity, update bet notes as appropriate and feedback to the Trading team using the agreed communication tools across the whole platform.
• Help support and develop the relationship between Bet Acceptance, Customer Profiling, Risk and the Trading Team’s and in doing so look to optimise the efficiency of the Trading Team as a whole.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Trading. 
• In-depth knowledge of sports, in particular Horse Racing.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions quickly and according to agreed guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability.
