Description
GiG LogicX is a powerful real-time rules engine built specifically for the iGaming industry. It enables users to create and manage complex business rules through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, without writing a single line of code.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our expanding team.
About the Team
You will be part of a self-managed SCRUM team responsible for the development and maintenance of the microservices that power LogicX. The team takes full ownership of its services, from design and implementation to deployment and support, and works closely with the Product team and other engineering teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery across the platform.
Team members are not only technically proficient but also have strong product knowledge. This enables them to collaborate effectively with the support team when needed and helps drive the development of features that truly serve our usersβ needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain LogicXβs backend microservice architecture
- Write unit and component tests
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Contribute as part of a cross-functional, self-organising SCRUM team
- Collaborate with architects to design and evolve the system architecture
- Understand the product and assist the support team when needed
- Take part in incident handling, including investigation, resolution, and follow-up
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and C#
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerised application development
- Able to support live production environments with minimal supervision
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with relational databases and SQL, as well as basic knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of testing principles
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts (design patterns, clean code, SOLID etc.)
- Knowledge of Microservice architecture
- Proficient with Git
- Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably Scrum
- Awareness of product requirements in the iGaming domain
- Good level of English
- Good listening and communication skills
