About Flutter UKI

Flutter UK & Ireland are the UKI region of Flutter Entertainment. They unite a dozen brands including powerhouses Paddy Power, Betfair, Tombola and Sky Betting & Gaming, bringing together hundreds of teams and thousands of colleagues, who create trusted entertainment for millions of customers every week.

The Team

The Promotions and Content team are responsible for keeping Paddy Power, Betfair & Skybet customers safe and engaged. Sitting in the wider Marketing Operations function, this team create promotional mechanics, landing pages and onsite content across our sports and gaming sites. Crucially, the team must ensure there is a 100% quality of execution through quality control processes across several tools and regularly review to adapt to the evolving marketplace.

The team will measure success through opt-in rates, click to bet rate and overall conversion of our customers.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing operational tasks and processes that will facilitate the business in delivering the best customer experience and product offering.

Our teams deal with promoting events via promotional banners, quick links, promotions live video and many other content areas ensuring we are offering the best content experience for our customers on site is up to date and relevant for our customers.

As globally sports events take place nonstop, this role involves evening shifts and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation and Placement: Create different type of promo banners (place image, text,logos,URLs,etc) promoting different sports events or other important announcements based on Commercial/Marketing direction;deploy multiple content areas,starting from promotion badges placement on events, quick links,special selections to create tabs, event/competition views,sport pages or an entire homepage view. In charge of content planning and scheduling based on Commercial priorities.
  • Platforms and Regions: Deploy content in multiple CMS tools for channels like desktop,mobile, native covering UK&I and International regions (BF). Managing and identifing translation discrepancies and adress them to relevant teams or take owneship in resolving them. Monitoring video and livescore streams,offering support in case there are issues.(PP)
  • Content Personalisation: Focusing on improving the onsite content in for different categories of customers in order to convert customers by placing targeted promotions using platforms like CPP or MovableInk. In charge of making different content splits per region or device type.Promoting racing/football/other sports by making different content changes during the day or days of the week based on customer`s needs and sports event calendar.
  • Commercial/Brand area: According to commercial priorities,the team will create dedicated promo banners and carousels,working closely with CRM department to make sure their requests are fulfilled and corresponding content is placed in desired content areas to ensure the best onsite experience
  • Event Page management: Add specific markets on tabs for event/sport level, create and place market blurbs,grids, template views.Searching for market types&IDs in multiple platforms.Working closely with Planning,Trading, Commercial and Analytics teams to setup the event view based on betting engagement reports.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct regular and timely content checks,correct identified errors and mitigate them by taking the necessary actions. Testing new and existing features in NXT and Prod environments. Identify any bugs/issues in order to ensure the best customer experience and address them to Product/Trading/Comercial teams to decide on the next steps. Focus on LOOP testing that is seen as a business priority, working closely with the commercial planning team to make sure resource allocation is set in place according to the test&learn roadmap in order to fulfil and achive the commercial goals.
  • Teams Collaborations: Work closely with multiple teams like Brand/Design to create specific promo banners, giving also feedback on the quality of the creatives placed on different devices. Collaborate with Promo,Planning,Trading, Commercial, Product & APM teams and contribute with meaningful input.
  • Queries & Meetings: Handle ad-hoc requests received via Slack/Email. Take part in daily/ad-hoc meetings or calls whenever required. Participate in demo sessions with Product teams or onsite planning with Commercial/Planning teams.

Ways of Working: Meets team’s KPIs with minimum errorss.Hands-on attitude regarding ad-hoc requests from different teams or outages where we are the point of contact for issue resolution. Seek to improve, optimize, and evolve current working practices to drive efficiency and quality. Escalate critical issues to the proper communication channels to ensure a speedy resolution.
