About PokerStars:

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Java, Spring Framework
Participation in day-to-day activities with guidance from more senior engineers
Active contributor of the scrum team
Designing efficient algorithms and implementing those in code for supporting the entire SDLC, including source control management and delivery pipelines
Development of back-end services to support Pokerstars accounts ecosystem.
Review and investigate production issues
Provide development status updates to various stakeholders
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:
Good knowledge of Java
Entry level knowledge of Spring and related technology stack
Understanding of the modern web architectural patterns, knowledge of technologies like HTTP(S), REST and WebSocket
Entry level knowledge of microservices architecture
Entry level knowledge of SQL scripting language
Exposure to front-end languages such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to details, ability to work with a remote team in a highly flexible remote environment
Good English
