Responsibilities
Assigned to perform functions at one property under the direction of the property's Manager, Security & Surveillance.
Assists with the implementation of hiring, employee development, and performance management practices at assigned property.
Assist in managing all Security and Surveillance-related operational matters of the property and its events. This includes managing line-level Security and Surveillance employees and providing effective leadership and guidance during any major crisis/incidents.
Develop an understanding all relevant local, state, and federal laws and maintain a good working relationship with local law enforcement, gaming agents, and other regulatory officials/bodies; collaborating, as needed, with local law enforcement to uphold law and order in the facility, maintain guest/employee safety, and respond to and handle emergency situations.
Ensure all guest questions and concerns are addressed immediately, either personally, or by contacting the appropriate department, supervisor, or member of management, to obtain the answer to the question, or obtain assistance in resolving the concern. Own the situation until the situation is resolved, or the guest is in direct contact with the Team Member who will resolve the situation.
Ensure policies/procedures and compliance standards are followed/maintained. Maintain knowledge of company internal controls, policies, regulations, and procedures.
Manage Human Resources responsibilities to include creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; compliance with company and department policies, and legal requirements.
Ensure proper reporting and communication between Security and Surveillance as it pertains to incident reports and local gaming authority regulations.
Assist in maintaining key controls and issuance of employee badges and permits at assigned property.
Assist in maintaining oversight of the safety and security function at the assigned property.
Ensure public and employee safety at assigned property.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory safety and security agencies for assigned property.
Assist in maintaining assigned property's facilities, maintenance, and upkeep or coordinate these activities with the appropriate contractors, vendors, suppliers, technicians, or employees.
Writes and maintains Security and Surveillance schedules, staffing levels, and shift reports.
Assist with training of Security and Surveillance employees.
Fills in for Security and Surveillance employee duties as necessary.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications
Ability to gain and maintain and gaming license through the proper jurisdictions as a conduction of hire and continued employment.
2+ Years in a similar role, preferably in the gaming industry, preferred.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $67,600.00 - $88,725.00. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.
Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship. At this time, this role is not eligible for immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship including H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, OPT, etc.
Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements
As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.
In addition, candidates must comply with and support BetMGM's responsible gambling policies, procedures, and initiatives.
