As Assistant General Manager, you’ll be a key leader within the Casino - working in close partnership with the Venue Director to drive performance, raise standards and bring the Grosvenor experience to life. This is a high‑impact role where your leadership presence, commercial mindset and passion for people will really make a difference.

You’ll make your mark by energising teams, setting the pace on the gaming floor, and creating exciting, memorable moments that keep customers coming back for more. From performance to people, you’ll be right at the heart of what makes the venue thrive.

Alongside the Venue Director, you’ll help develop and deliver a robust business plan that balances commercial success with our responsibilities to customers, colleagues, the community and the regulator. With the right support and development, this role offers a clear progression route to General Manager, putting you on track to lead your own casino.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as a strong second‑in‑command, supporting the smooth running of the casino and stepping up in the Venue Director’s absence.
  • Lead daily gaming operations, driving performance across financial results, customer service and people metrics.
  • Build and develop a high‑performing management team with a strong focus on safer gambling and customer care.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a multi‑skilled team that consistently delivers the Grosvenor brand standards.
  • Drive profitability through effective sales strategies while tightly managing costs and margins.
  • Champion regulatory excellence, ensuring full compliance with Gambling Commission requirements.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Previous work experience at management/leadership level within casino/gaming, leisure, hospitality or similar industries. 
  • PML licence holder with proven experience in leading teams in a regulated environment.
  • Confident in leading change and creating a positive, inclusive and engaging culture.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, including for our VIP guests.
  • Commercially astute with strong financial and business acumen.
