ENTER THE GAME

As an Internal Regulatory Control Assistant, you will join the Internal Regulatory team to support the evaluation and improvement of internal processes.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be:

Controller Support & Activity Management

• Assist controllers in monitoring remediation and action plans (follow-up, documentation, and escalation)
• Support the tracking and management of requests and issues
• Update and complete regulatory documentation related to control sheets

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Formalize and enhance internal procedures
• Develop and maintain the team’s Confluence space
• Conduct regular monitoring and research on Confluence-related topics

Monitoring, Steering & Reporting

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support activity tracking
• Contribute to the preparation of reports for senior management

Team Lead Support

• Support the Team Lead in steering team activities (planning, coordination, and follow-up)

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness, accuracy, and motivation!

Background

• Master’s degree student (or equivalent) – internal control, audit, risk management, compliance, finance, or related field
  (open to other backgrounds with strong analytical skills and interest in regulatory topics)
• Previous internship or apprenticeship experience
• Strong interest in internal control, compliance, and regulatory environments

Technical skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel (data analysis, dashboards, structuring data)
• Fluent in English and French
• Comfortable with digital tools (Confluence is a plus)

Soft skills

• Strong analytical mindset and structured thinking
• Ability to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proactivity and ability to take initiative in a growing/structuring team
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, and attention to detail
• Good communication and writing skills
• Team player with adaptability in a changing environment

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, Romain, Internal Controler Regulatory Lead (your future mentor) will contact you within a week for an initial screening.

Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

Then, you will Julien, Internal Regulatory Director.

Finally, Elodie will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
