ENTER THE GAME

As a member of the Defensive team, you will join the Global Security teams to:

  1. Operate cybersecurity threat detection and incident response activities
  2. Implement threat engineering, detection mechanisms, and incident response procedures
  3. Participate in innovative projects to redesign AI-driven SOC and CSIRT operations

    YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

    In this role, your main missions will be:

    • Monitor security events and alerts accross systems, networks, and applications
    • Perform incident response and containment actions
    • Develop and maintain detection rules, use cases and alerting mechanisms
    • Conduct threat analysis, threat hunting and threat intelligence to identify attacks
    • Reduce false positives and optimize detection efficiency
    • Automate repetitive tasks end enhance operational efficiency with AI
    • Contribute to cybersecurity projects and/or programs


    WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

    We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!

    This apprenticeship is for you if several of the following apply:

    • You have a strong academic background and a solid understanding of systems, networks, cryptography, software development, web and cloud environments.
    • You have gained some academic or hands-on experience with defensive or intelligence activities (SOC, CSIRT, OSINT, CTI...) and security tools (SIEM, EDR, XDR, honeypots, NDR...).
    • You have a basic understanding of forensic tools and investigation techniques.
    • You have explored offensive security techniques and participated in CTF competitions, Bug Bounty programs, or learning platforms (Root-Me, HTB...).
    • You are eager to learn about modern IT architectures, including cloud, identity, containers, and related technologies.
    • You are enthusiastic about building AI-driven tools for next-generation SOC.
    • Finally, you are comfortable working in English and motivated to continuously develop your skills.


    WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

    If your application is shortlisted, Maxime will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

    Next, you will meet Jean-Luc – Defensive cybersecurity manager. Finally, Maxime will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

    The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
