THE JOB:
Join our exceptional team at MGM Resorts as an Apprentice Engineer! In this role, you will assist in maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities while learning from experienced maintenance engineers. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can grow your career in hospitality engineering.
THE STARTING RATE: $26.28 hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Maintain a proactive attitude toward safety by keeping your work area clean and reporting any guest incidents.
Perform maintenance duties, including carpentry, painting, electrical work, HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment repair.
Use precision measuring devices, circuit diagrams, and mechanical blueprints to assist in repairs and maintenance.
Provide emergency repairs and maintenance for all facilities and equipment as needed.
Detect faulty operations and report any unusual situations to the appropriate supervision.
Manage inventory of equipment and parts to ensure operational readiness.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
