Shifts range between 09:00 and 18:30 covering a 7-day rota (based on a 37.5-hour week)
Please note that this role is based in Gibraltar and will be office-based for the first three months of your employment. After that, you'll have the option to work from home one day a week as part of our hybrid working model.

The Role

We are looking for talented individuals who are enthusiastic and have a keen interest in Anti Money Laundering, Affordability, and Compliance within the gambling space.

The successful candidates will demonstrate good organisational, communication, and analytical skill sets, alongside effective research and written communication skills. They will be able to deal with issues independently and as part of a team even when working under pressure with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing enhanced due diligence, risk profiling and assessment on member account activities and transactions as generated by the group’s AML system in a timely manner
  • Playing a pivotal role in identifying potential risks to the business through account reviewing and affordability trigger work streams, effectively communicating your findings to the AML management team and ensuring the funds we receive are legitimate and affordable.
  • Use a variety of investigative methods to find and identify a member’s source of funds and to assess the risk presented by a member’s activities.
  • Effective navigation and management of our back-office tools and alerts to complete a variety of safer gambling and AML reviews in an effective way to provide a smooth customer journey.
  • Verification of source of funds and source of wealth documentation and assessing risk of members spend and affordability.
  • Perform direct and discreet background enquires information on new and existing members through a variety of research and investigation techniques.
  • Keeping accurate records of your findings, other’s interactions, and actions; then using your judgement to advise what course of action would be most effective to mitigate risk.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong investigation, risk analysis, assessment, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Previous Responsibility Gambling, AML, KYC or Due Diligence experience in the gambling and/or finance sector would be preferred but not essential.
  • Adaptability to changing procedures and flexibility to ways of working.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver to a tight deadline and remain calm under pressure.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels across all functions.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy within work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
  • English speaking is essential due to UK customer base.
