About Flutter Functions:
The Flutter Functions division is a key component of Flutter Entertainment, responsible for providing essential support and services across the organization. The division encompasses various corporate functions, including finance, legal, human resources, technology, and more, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment throughout the company.
Role Overview:
Flutter Technology is seeking an AI DevOps Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate the infrastructure powering Flutter’s AI initiatives — including the Flutter Assistant Infrastructure and Agentic Platforms.
As a hands-on contributor, you will implement and support the integration of AI use cases across our AWS Cloud Infrastructure estate helping to build and optimise systems, implement CI/CD and observability, and handle day-to-day operations. Partnering with brands across the group, you’ll enable faster delivery, modernise AI platforms, and embed automation to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient AI operations for the long term.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Build and operate a secure, performant, and cost-effective AI Platform.
Implements the transformation of AI deployment and operations using Infrastructure as Code methodologies and automation tooling.
Builds the development and management of AI Agent Platforms, ensuring robust deployment, orchestration, and monitoring practices.
Provide repeatable and rapid deployment patterns for AI agents and automation services.
Assume guardianship of AI infrastructure code and artefact repositories, ensuring they adhere to best practices.
Enable and support AI engineering, automation engineering, and data science teams with the adoption of AI platform services.
Triage incidents, problems, and risks impacting AI systems, AI agents, and services.
Author and oversee a library of technical documentation and reusable design patterns.
Implement, curate, and Contribute Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for AI platform services.
Support architecture and function leads with developing the AI technology roadmap and strategy.
Act as a trusted SME, offering advice and knowledge sharing to the broader technology team and internal customers.
Forge, evangelise, and ensure adherence to best-in-class operating procedures, policies, and operational manuals, setting a gold standard for operational precision.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with other pivotal Flutter group functions, consistently identifying and seizing opportunities for collaboration.
Liaise with Third Party vendors and partners.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:
Building and operating AI Agent Platforms and AI infrastructure, ideally within highly available AWS environments.
Proven experience Building or delivering AI infrastructure at scale using automation frameworks.
Experience troubleshooting AI agents and working with technologies such as MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent-to-Agent), and API operations.
Proficiency with source control management tools (like Git, GitHub, GitOps) coupled with extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline optimisation.
Proven expertise in curating, managing, and optimising deployment assets for AI workloads, including container images and model artefacts.
Demonstrated proficiency in employing Infrastructure as Code methodologies using tools such as CDK, Terraform, and CloudFormation at scale.
Establish AI observability and site reliability practices to maintain systems within Implement SLOs.
Orchestration and management of container platforms, preferably using Kubernetes.
Extensive experience delivering and operating systems within security-compliant environments.
Producing and overseeing comprehensive, clear, and actionable technical documentation.
Sharing knowledge with your peers and across the wider engineering community.
Working in an agile environment.
Incident, change, problem, and risk management.
Advantageous: Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Python and TypeScript.
Bonus points for previous software engineering experience, coding, and automation.
