Job Description

As an AI & Automation Engineer you will design, develop, and deploy AI agents and automated workflow solutions to solve key Business challenges.

The AgentOps department empowers Business functions through the strategic design, development, deployment, and lifecycle management of advanced AI-powered solutions.

Our main objective is to deliver significant improvements in operational efficiency and foster a culture of innovation, delivering seamless integration and orchestration with wider Business systems.

You will be a hands-on developer with a passion for automation, using workflow automation platforms to integrate AI capabilities into our Business systems. You will play a pivotal role in transforming manual processes and enabling pragmatic intelligent automation across the organisation.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Qualifications

  • Experience working as an Automation Engineer, Software Developer, or relevant commercial experience.
  • Strong programming skills.
  • Expertise in working with RESTful APIs and other integration methods.
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms, such asn8n, Make, Zapier.
  • Strong understanding of solution architecture and design principles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and acute attention to detail.

Additional Information

  • Developing and deploying robust and scalable AI agents and workflow solutions.
  • Integrating AI solutions with various systems and data sources via APIs.
  • Collaborating with the AgentOps Team Leader and key stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective, production-grade automation solutions.
  • Writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code and workflow configurations.
  • Monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting deployed AI agents to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Contributing to the full lifecycle management of AI solutions, including testing, versioning, and documentation.
  • Analysing and optimising workflows for efficiency, cost, and accuracy.
  • Implementing advanced models into operational workflow by collaborating with the Innovation and Data Science teams.
