2D Artist

We’re looking for a hardworking and experienced 2D Artist to join our team working on one of our flagship titles. In this role, you will bring ideas to life—from initial concept to final implementation—while collaborating closely with development and product teams to grow and maintain the game.

Work mode: hybrid – 3 days per week from the Wave Office in Gdansk.

What You’ll Do

• Build concepts, mockups, and polished final renders of complex objects

• Design engaging game elements and assets: backgrounds, characters, isometric objects, tooltips, icons, and more

• Develop intuitive and visually appealing game interfaces

• Uphold and improve the project’s casual art style

• Collaborate actively with other designers and cross-functional teams, share ideas, and contribute to a positive team environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience creating game art, with a portfolio that demonstrates your skills

• Expert-level knowledge of Photoshop and graphic tablets

• Strong understanding of composition, color theory, perspective, and anatomy

• Quick sketching skills, ability to produce accurate wireframes, and adapt to changes rapidly

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Familiarity with art production pipelines in the gaming industry and close collaboration with Technical Art and Animation teams

• Experience designing game interfaces.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with 3D tools (e.g., Blender)

• Animation experience.
