Senior Customer Marketing Planning Manager – 12month Fixed Term Contract

We’re looking for a Senior Customer Marketing Planning Manager on an initial 12-month contract, to join our Customer Marketing Team at Betfair part of Flutter UK & Ireland.

We’re looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Senior Customer Marketing Planning Manager to help shape the future of customer engagement at Betfair. You’ll play a key role in defining our marketing strategy, driving commercial growth, and supporting our transformation as we migrate to a new campaigning platform and evolve how we engage customers across global markets.

Reporting into the Head of Betfair Customer Marketing, you will represent Betfair’s strategic needs throughout the transformation, ensuring our customer, brand and commercial priorities are embedded into new tools, frameworks and ways of working.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Own the planning, optimisation and governance of our multi-market customer contact strategy.

  • Drive the shift from campaign-led to data-driven, customer-first engagement.

  • Work closely with Commercial, Analytics, Brand, Digital, Data, Tech and Operations to deliver consistent, aligned customer experiences.

  • Develop omni-channel contact frameworks that balance brand needs, relevance and responsible contact.

  • Translate customer marketing strategy into actionable communication plans across targeting, data selection and creative approach.

  • Guide the development of data, intelligence and decisioning needed for future personalisation and automation.

  • Support the migration to our new campaigning platform, ensuring business needs are captured.

How you’ll play to win:

  • Proven experience in customer marketing planning, lifecycle marketing or data-driven Customer Marketing roles.

  • Experience in customer engagement or martech transformation within a matrixed organisation.

  • Strong understanding of multi-channel CRM, lifecycle design and segmentation.

  • Knowledge of CRM platforms, marketing automation and data activation tools.

  • Strong analytical and insight-generation skills.

  • Confident stakeholder management across multiple teams and levels.

  • Commercial mindset with strong customer empathy.

  • Clear communicator and effective change driver.
