What’s the position?

As a Martech Data Engineer, you will work alongside marketing and engineering teams to drive successful data initiatives while maintaining and supporting established solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a team-first mentality, and hands-on experience with data engineering and marketing technology platforms. This position will play a pivotal role as we continue to grow and scale our data infrastructure.

 

What You Will Do: Data Warehouse & Pipeline Management

  • Build and maintain data models and transformations using DBT

  • Manage RETL data pipelines to our CDP and other downstream tools

  • Collaborate across business teams to understand needs and implement data solutions

  • Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformation logic, and warehouse schemas



What are we looking for?

Essential skills for this role:

  • 3+ years of experience working with data engineering and marketing technology platforms

  • Strong experience with DBT - you can write, test, and maintain data models and transformations

  • Hands-on experience with modern data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar)

  • Practical experience using martech applications such as Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and attribution systems

  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouse best practices

  • Advanced SQL skills - you can write complex queries, optimize performance, and troubleshoot data issues

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

  • Understanding of data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow or similar)

  • Proficiency with calculation and storage of marketing metrics in warehouse environments

  • Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Streamlit, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Basic understanding of working with AI in a cloud environment
