Junior Pre Event Trader (Tennis)

Let's start with the role

An exciting role within our expanding Pre-Event Sports team. The position will be within the Trading division, with an emphasis on our Tennis product, contributing to our commitment to deliver a high caliber customized betting offer and customer experience.  

• Trade betting events for Tennis; Monitor and manage respective liabilities to ensure risk is mitigated;
• Compile odds for a wide variety of Tennis tournaments in a timely manner and own pre-event pricing;
• Create and monitor betting markets and assist in controlling risk so that optimum pre-event margin is achieved;
• Ad hoc creating and managing additional markets according to sophisticated customers demand;
• Monitor and analyze customer activity, reporting to the Sportsbook Integrity team;
• Consistently deliver outstanding service to our internal and external customers and ensure departmental KPIs are delivered;
• Adhere to departmental SLAs and liaise with different departments and assist them with their sportsbook related queries;
• Assist with improving and developing trading tools.

What you will bring:

• A degree in a quantitative subject such as Finance, Statistics, Computing is considered an asset
• Passionate about Tennis and possess an extensive knowledge in all aspects of the sport
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with demonstrated knowledge of core statistics within the sports
• Betting/sportsbook’s playing experience/activity;
• Sound knowledge of MS Office programs (particularly MS Excel);
• Fluent in English, with excellent written communication skills;
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to take quick and well-informed decisions accordingly;
• Willing to work flexible time shifts in line with the business and sports calendar requirements.
